It was a great weekend for Manx cycling with three Manx riders finishing in the top ten at Britain's National Road Race Championships. Peter Kennaugh was the top Manx rider, claiming an impressive second place in the 120-mile race, held in Helmsley in North Yorkshire. Team High Road's Mark Cavendish came home fifth and Kennaugh's 100% ME team-mate Jonny Bellis was tenth. The race was won by the experienced Rob Hayles. Kennaugh and Bellis also finished first and third respectively in the under-23 classification.
