 Cooke heads for the World Championship in fine form |
Nicole Cooke added the World Cup team title to her individual crown after her fifth place in Sunday's final round. Cooke's Univega Pro Cycling team finished 200 points ahead of nearest challengers T-Mobile after picking up 88 points in Germany.
Ina Teutenberg's second place lifted her to second in the individual standings, with Annette Beutler third.
Cooke wrapped up the title last weekend with fourth place in the penultimate event of the 12-race series.
Buitenpoort-Flexpoint took third in the team standings.
Cooke's next race will be at the UCI Road Race World Championship in Austria on 23 September.
