 Voigt won stage two of the Tour of Germany |
Germany's CSC rider Jens Voigt won the 181.5km second stage of the Tour of Germany on Thursday. Italian Davide Rebellin was second with Kazakh Andrey Kaschechkin in third.
Russian Vladimir Gusev of the Discovery Channel team holds the overall leader's yellow jersey.
The first three escaped 15km from the end with Voigt outsprinting his rivals.
German Ronny Scholz was clear for the first 107km before capture.
Friday's third stage takes the bunch from Witzenhausen to Schweinfurt over 203km.
