Belgian sprinter Tom Boonen won the weather-hit second stage of the Paris-Nice cycle race on Tuesday. Boonen, who also took the first stage on Monday, beat Denmark's Kurt-Asle Arvesen into second place after finishing in 53 minutes 31 seconds.
The 24-year-old took the overall leader's yellow jersey from Dutchman Erik Dekker by just three seconds.
Lance Armstrong came 90th in the stage, which was shortened from 191 to 45 kilometres because of bad weather.
