Track gold for Cooke and Thomas
Nicole Cooke
Cooke is considering her options ahead of Melbourne
Welsh cyclists Nicole Cooke and Geraint Thomas won golds at the British track cycling championships in Manchester.

The 20k scratch race was a first senior title for 18-year-old prospect Thomas.

Cooke, 22, took gold in the points race to add to bronze in the womens scratch, as she decides whether to compete in track events at the Commonwealth Games.

"It was nice to add to my youth track titles," said Cooke. "I rode like that in a British championship but I need to race at a higher level and learn more."
