Millar was hoping to return to competitive cycling this year |
Cyclist David Millar has confirmed his intention to return to the saddle in 2006 after completing a two-year doping ban next June. The 28-year-old Scot was suspended in 2004 after he admitted taking the blood-booster EPO.
The former Tour de France stage winner is studying a number of offers but is yet to make a decision on his future.
"I've been training very hard and I hope to make a successful return to racing in 2006," he said.
