It will be the second marriage for cycling star Armstrong |
American cycling star Lance Armstrong and rock singer Sheryl Crow have announced their engagement. The seven-times Tour de France winner got engaged to Crow while the two were on holiday in Sun Valley, Idaho, but no wedding date has yet been named.
Armstrong retired in July after winning his seventh straight Tour win, but he has since been dogged by doping claims.
French newspaper L'Equipe alleged he used blood-boosting drugs in 1999 - a claim Armstrong vehemently denies.
Marriage to Crow will be the second for Armstrong, who has three children with ex-wife Kristin.
Rock star Crow, whose hits include "All I Wanna Do" and "If It Makes You Happy", has never been married.
