Germany cycling star Jan Ullrich hopes to ride in next year's Tour of Britain. The T-Mobile rider, the 1997 Tour de France winner and a two-time world champion, would be the biggest name by far to compete in the race.
"I'd really like to do it. I've heard a lot of good stories from my team-mates," said the 31-year-old.
Ullrich's number one priority will remain the Tour de France as he seeks to capitalise on the retirement of seven-time champion Lance Armstrong.
