Sydney gold-medallist Jason Queally won the kilometre time-trial at the World Cup classic in Moscow.

The Czech Republic's Alois Kankovsky was third, almost a second slower.

Promising 21-year-old British rider Ross Edgar claimed a creditable fifth place in the keirin final behind Russia's Sergei Ruban, who took gold.
