Zabel off to a flyer
Eric Zabel receives the plaudits for victory
Zabel claimed victory in a bunch sprint
Eric Zabel made the most of racing on home ground as he won the first stage in the Tour of Germany.

The German out-sprinted Australia's Stuart O'Grady to win the 184km stage from Dresden to Altenburg.

He leads overall from O'Grady by eight seconds thanks to time bonuses picked up during the stage.
