Cornwall's bowlers won their second Middleton Cup match with a convincing 145 shots to 117 victory over Somerset at St Austell at the weekend. Cornwall led throughout the meeting, their third in the competition, and took 18 points from the victory. Mark Read's rink scored the biggest win of the day, with a 31-15 scoreline, as the county won four of the six rinks being played in wet conditions. Cornwall's next match is on Saturday 5 July against Dorset in Dorchester.
