Wilkinson heading for semi-finals
Ireland's Muriel Wilkinson is on course for a semi-final place in the Women's World Indoor Championships in Belfast.

On Monday Wilkinson beat Sandra Rennie of Scotland 8-3, 8-3 and Mary Alderson from the Isle of Man 7-5, 14-0.

The national champion from County Antrim faces Jersey's Gaynor Thomas and Malaysia's Saedah Rahim on Tuesday.

In the men's singles Heritage's Stephen Millaine lost 9-3, 8-3 to Malaysia's Azwain Shuhaimi before beating England's Graham Shadwell 9-2, 6-6.

Millaine and Belfast's Audrey Doggart will line up against Guernsey's Alison Merrien and Nicky Donaldson in Tuesday evening's quarter-finals of the invitation World Two-Bowl Mixed Pairs.
