Coach Rob Paternostro guided Leicester to the play-offs last season

Leicester Riders continued their poor run with a second consecutive double defeat at the weekend.

Riders, who lost to Cheshire and Glasgow last weekend, were beaten 111-75 away at Newcastle on Friday.

And they lost 93-86 to Worcester at the John Sandford Centre on Saturday - despite a spirited fightback.

Riders started disastrously and trailed 25-12 after the first period. They fought back to level the game 81-81, but could not maintain the effort.
