Reading Rockets director of coaching Matt Johnson says his team are confident they can secure their third victory in a row this weekend.
The Rockets take on Brixton Topcats in the National Trophy on Sunday.
"The guys have worked hard, they are confident in the way they play which is exciting," Johnson told BBC Berkshire.
Reading secured two wins in their first two games against London Capital and London Leopards last weekend and currently top their Trophy pool.
Brixton go into the match with one win and one defeat, having been given a 20-0 win against London Capital on the opening day of the season, before losing to last year's National Cup winners, Bristol Academy Flyers, last Sunday.
The Topcats' coach is former Reading player Andy Powlesland, who played for the Berkshire club over 10 years ago, and Johnson said he was looking forward to seeing the former Rocket.
"I went to university with Andy, it will be great to catch up with him, especially after the game if we win," he said.
"He's done a really good job and it's good to play against someone you know. He'll compete hard and be well prepared, so it will be good competition for us."
