Tony Garbelotto thinks his side need to improve.

Tony Garbelotto wants an improvement from Everton Tigers this weekend after two consecutive defeats by Cheshire Jets and MK Lions.

Tigers travel to bottom side Essex Pirates on Saturday before playing Worcester Wolves on Sunday.

The coach said: "Up until the weekend I was extremely happy with all of my players.

"They now though have to push on and get even better. That is what we hope and strive for."

He added: "This weekend is critical for our team. The Essex game will be tough as they are playing at home and have played everyone extremely well in Southend.

"On Sunday we will be playing one of the inform teams in the league - Worcester. We cannot have a let-down at home for this game.

"Our fans deserve better and we want to put on a real show for them at the Arena."
