Wolves aim for first home success

Worcester Wolves will chase their first home win of the season when they return for the first time in three weeks on Saturday night.

Wolves coach Skouson Harker sees it as a great opportunity against the BBL's bottom side, London Capital.

"I know very little about the Capitals but I do know that they play hard and compete vigorously in every game.

"It's a very big game for us and we will concentrate on our game plan," BBC Hereford & Worcester.

Wolves have won their last two away games, at Everton Tigers and most recently a high-scoring shoot-out at Worthing two Sundays ago.

Harker was the stand-out player at Worthing with an impressive double of 32 points and 18 rebounds.

The win helped maintain their status as the highest point scorers in the whole of the BBL.

They have scored an average of more than 94 points their seven games this season.

The Wolves also have three of the top 10 individual scorers in the league, with Anthony Paez averaging 25 a game, and Harker and Justin Brown at just under 20.

"Offensively we have some guys who get the job done," Harker said.

"It is an easy criticism to say that we play little defence but, as we get up more shots than most teams, it is only natural that our opponents do the same.

"However, I do agree that our close-outs and pressure need to be more consistent."

Wolves take on the Capitals at the University of Worcester on Saturday 15 November at 1900 GMT.
