Paternostro's side will face Plymouth Raiders if they win on Saturday

Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro says his side have to play better defensively if they are to book a place in the BBL Cup quarter-finals.

Riders take on Worthing Thunder at the John Sandford Centre on Saturday.

Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester: "If you don't defend well against them they will put points on the board and have the ability to have big quarters.

"We're excited to be in this competition and look forward to a great effort from our guys."

"You win, you go on but you lose, and you go home. There's a sense of urgency when you take the floor on Saturday night," Paternostro added.
