Paternostro was appointed Riders coach in June

Leicester Riders have re-signed centre Barry Lamble for the new BBL season.

The 25-year-old from Somerset is the second signing by new coach Rob Paternostro, who brought in American Matt Martin last week.

Paternosto told the club's website: "I'm excited about working with Barry. I played alongside him for the Riders, so I saw what a talented player he is.

"He has been working hard on his game this summer and he needs to come in with confidence from day one."

Lamble, who will play his third term for the Riders, averaged almost seven points and five rebounds per game last season.

The club face London Capitals in their first BBL Championship match on 27 September.
