 Paternostro wants to entertain |
Leicester Riders' new coach Rob Paternostro says he is looking to recruit a team to entertain the crowds as well as win games. He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I'm looking to develop a winning team but also an entertaining one the fans can be proud of." It is his first head coach job but has had coaching experience here and in the United States. The 35-year-old is researching players to make sure he recruits wisely. He added: "It's a round-the-clock thing and I'm looking for every position on the floor. "Everybody who is anybody is in play for me now and I plan to look at player after player for the next couple of months." Paternostro is a veteran guard, having played at Leicester as well as three spells with Birmingham and for clubs in Italy, France, Spain, Belgium and Greece.
