Drew Lasker led the Raiders scoring with 22 points |
Plymouth Raiders completed the regular season with a home win over Milton Keynes Lions to ensure a top-three finish in the BBL Championship. The Devon side bounced back from a half-time deficit to win 77-73 at the Pavilions on Wednesday evening. Raiders chief executive Dave Briggs told BBC Radio Devon they face a tough test, whoever they host in the play-offs a week on Saturday, 26 April. "The thing with the league this year everybody can beat anybody," he said. "A team in twelfth position in the league can quite easily beat the first team. It's a really competitive league. "The four teams that are in the bottom of the play-offs are going to be gunning for the top seeds." The Raiders are currently second in the Championship but only two points clear of Guildford Heat who have two games in hand on Plymouth - and would overtake them if they win either game. Plymouth go into the play-off period in excellent form, having won 11 of their last 13 games.
