Leicester Riders ended their miserable run of form by beating Sheffield Sharks at the John Sandford Centre 78-65 to secure a first league win this year. Riders made a superb start and established a deserved 20-10 first-period lead.
The home side continued to dominate and stretched the lead to 40-22 by the break and, although Sharks fought back to within 12 points, Leicester held on.
Carlos White was Leicester's star man, leading all scorers with 24 points.
