Anthony Paez top scored for Wolves against Plymouth

Friday night's reverse at Newcastle was followed up by a narrow 92-87 home defeat by Plymouth in a game Wolves were leading into the final minute.

Assistant coach Rob Crump told BBC Hereford and Worcester that Wolves feel they are better than the 11th place in the league they now occupy.

"That does not reflect the talent we have, we should be in mid-table."

Crump says the margins in the BBL are very fine and Worcester have suffered for making mistakes.

"It's the little things, sometimes you turn over a ball and that is the difference between winning and losing," he said.

"You have to do everything to perfection, and you can't settle for a lazy pass or a bad shot.

"We have a young team and we have got a good team, but we have to make sure they have the character to go out and win games."

Crump said climbing the table is in Wolves' own hands.

"We have Leicester at home in another big game, and from now on we play a lot of teams who are competing with us for places in the play-offs," he added.

"Next week could be a real decider."

Crump praised the Wolves crowd and insisted they have a big part to play in the rest of the season.

"The fans were great and really got behind us in the second half against Plymouth, they do make a difference and we need them with us every week," he added.
