Cheshire Jets secured a semi-final tie with Newcastle in the BBL Trophy by beating the Leicester Riders 86-71. The Jets, led by Jayson Obazuaye's 25 points, won each of the first three quarters by 10 points to lead 75-45.
Cheshire, who parted company with player-coach TJ Walker earlier in the week, needed only to win to qualify.
The victory eliminated Plymouth, ending the Devon club's hopes of retaining the trophy in front of their own fans at the final in March.
Leicester had shocked Cup holders Milton Keynes 84-79 in the same Trophy pool 24 hours earlier, knocking out the Lions in the process.
Milton Keynes had led 63-59 at the start of the fourth quarter but after taking the lead with an 8-0 run, Leicester were never headed again.
New American signing Carlos White hit 21 points to lead the Riders to victory.
The Jets face the Newcastle Eagles in the semi-finals at Sheffield's Ponds Forge next weekend. In the other tie, the Guildford Heat will take on Worcester Wolves.
