Jeremy Hyatt has signed for Newcastle Eagles for a seventh season, making him their current longest serving player. The 6ft 6in shooting guard said: "It's going to be a case of focusing getting back to winning more silverware."
"We can definitely compete again on all fronts again - hopefully it's going to be a big year," added the American.
Eagles play-coach Fab Flournoy said: "Jeremy knows everything there is to know about our system and what is expected of the players."
Newcastle have also signed former BBL All Star forward Lynard Stewart, 31, for the 2007-08 season.
Stewart spent three successful seasons with Sheffield and was named MVP in the 2004 BBL Cup final and play-off final.
The Pennsylvania-born product of Temple University has also played in Israel, the Czech Republic, Belgium and spent two seasons at the London Towers.
Flournoy said: "Lynard will give us so much on the floor and maybe offer a new dimension."
