The Chester Jets landed the BBL Championship for the second time in the last four seasons when they beat London Towers 97-74 in their final game. Newcastle's 95-62 win at Sheffield earlier in the day had meant the Jets had to win to take the title.
The Jets, led by Calvin Davis' 22 points, outscored the Towers 52-27 in the second and third quarters to open a winning lead of 22 points.
Shawn Myers and Trey Moore added 21 and 20 points, respectively, for the Jets.
Chester Jets' coach Paul Smith paid tribute to his Championship-winning squad.
"It's all down to them - they were fantastic," he said. "We won the Trophy last season but this is different - the league is the ultimate prize."
"I think we've always had our destiny in our own hands and we've always had the philosophy of taking it one game at a time."
"This means that our end of season party will be probably the best ever."
