England have confirmed their squad for the Badminton World Championships to be held in Madrid in September. Olympic silver medallists Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms will want to make up for last year when Robertson damaged his ankle before the event.
Emms will also partner Donna Kellogg in the women's doubles.
Two-time national champion Aamir Ghaffar and Andrew Smith tackle the men's singles, but there is no place for current English champion Nick Kidd.
For former world number five Julia Mann, 35 next week, Madrid provides the perfect swansong to her career.
She and Commonwealth and national champion Tracey Hallam will spearhead England's women's singles challenge.
Madrid will also mark the World Championship debut of 19-year-old doubles star Jenny Wallwork.
The Leeds prospect for London 2012, who topped the Badminton Europe circuit's mixed doubles rankings this season, will partner Kristian Roebuck.
