Tate and the rest of the Jets struggled at the Slavia Athletics Stadium

Coventry Jets' run in the EFAF Cup ended with a 49-6 defeat by Prague Panthers in the Czech Republic.

Jets went into the game knowing that a 27-point winning margin would be enough to book their place in the semi-finals.

The home side dominated Saturday's match from start to finish although Kofi Campbell's touchdown kept the scores close in the first quarter.

Coventry's quarterback Ed Tate only managed to complete just over a third of all his passes.
