Carol Difford's double victory at the national championships have earned the Welsh bowler a nomination for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

The Gilfach Bargoed bowler won both the four bowl and two bowl singles at the Welsh showpiece in Lampeter.

Difford was nominated by the women's bowls selectors and could qualify for a team that virtually swept the board at last year's Atlantic Championships.

The final team will be selected by the Welsh Commonwealth team selectors.

National Women's Bowls Selectors nominations:
