Loake in action druing the final round

Clint Loake finished top in the first round of the newly formed Cloud 9 Spring Sponge Fest bodyboard competition at Petit Port Reef.

The event in Corbiere was the first of four that make up the Spring Sponge Fest series.

Loake dominated in his heat and progressed through to the final with a string of stylish rides, where he continued his form to claim victory.

David Speller finished second with Simon Watkins placing third.
