All the boats are expected to make it in time for the championships

All the gigs for this year's World Championships in the Isles of Scilly are set to make it to the islands after concerns they may be delayed.

The main cargo boat to the islands, the Gry Maritha, was forced out of service after it failed its annual inspection.

Organisers brought in a landing craft to try and ferry all the boats from Penzance in time for the biggest event in the islands' calendar.

Organisers say they are now confident of getting all the boats there on time.
