Newcastle Eagles put themselves into BBL title contention with a 99-90 win over Chester Jets on Thursday. The Eagles closed to within four points of top spot on the back of a 30-point tally from Jeremy Hyatt, which included six three-pointers.
In third place, Sheffield Sharks were 78-66 winners over Plymouth Raiders, with Rob Yanders scoring 24 points.
The most convincing win of the night saw Scottish Rocks thrash under-strength Brighton Bears 87-67.
