Scotland's Paul Foster will meet Welshman John Price in the final of the World Indoor Bowls Championships after titanic semi-final battles. Foster had been held 6-6 in the first set against Ian Bond, but his 9-3 win in the second was a larger margin than the Englishman's bowls deserved.
Foster told BBC Sport: "What an advert for bowls. What a game that would have been if that had been the final."
Price defeated England's Andy Thomson 11-3 7-7 in another tight battle.
Scottish-born fourth seed Thomson came close to forcing a tie break but was edged out by the eighth seed.
Foster, the third seed, was involved in an even more exciting tussle.
And Bond added: "I would have won any game if it had not been for Paul today."
The Troon man had only booked his place against seventh seed Bond after a tie-break defeat of Sunderland's David Bolt, 12-2 6-10 2-0.
