Great Britain men's hockey team went down to a second defeat at the hands of Argentina in as many days, but the 5-2 scoreline flattered the home side. Dave Mathews' penalty stroke put Britain ahead before Juan Garreta equalised from a penalty corner.
Mark Pearn converted Graham Dunlop's pass to restore the lead but Jorge Lombi's penalty made it 2-2.
Further goals by Fernando Ferrera, Ezequiel Paulon and Mario Almada wrapped up victory for Argentina.
Afterwards, team manager David Whittle said the scoreline was not a fair reflection of how the game had gone.
"It was a flattering scoreline for Argentina and was a combination of disallowed goals, hitting the post three times, missed chances and questionable umpiring," he said.
"The guys' fitness held, that was not a problem, but we reverted to things that we shouldn't be doing."
