Scottish Hockey Union general manager Colin Grahamslaw is leaving for a role at the Royal Caledonian Curling Club. Grahamslaw's departure comes at a pivotal time for Scottish hockey, following a disappointing Olympics for Great Britain's teams.
That has led the SHU and their Welsh counterparts to consider allowing a GB side to play in all major tournaments except the European championships.
But that would mean the Scots must give up the chance to play in the World Cup.
Scottish Hockey president Jacky Burnett paid tribute to Grahamslaw's input, saying: "He has been influential in pushing the sport forward, particularly on the business side, ensuring that he has left Scottish Hockey in great shape with good solid foundations to build on for the future."
Grahamslaw will be the new chief executive at the Royal Caledonian Curling Club.
