German Maria Riesch triumphed in Sunday's women's World Cup slalom race in the Finnish resort of Levi. The teenager clocked a time of one minute 43.75 seconds to claim her third victory in three disciplines this year.
The win follows her third place behind home favourite Tanja Poutiainen in Saturday's slalom race.
Elisabeth Goergl of Austria was second in 1:44.07 with German Martina Ertl third but champion Anja Paerson failed to finish the second run.
Paerson, who has already secured the slalom and giant slalom World Cups this season, missed a gate after setting the fourth-best time in the first leg.
Riesch, one of the tallest women on the ski circuit, led by 0.31 seconds after the first leg and kept the advantage despite nearly losing her balance as she charged down the second run.
"I am so happy today that I won my first slalom because I really didn't expect this when I came here," said Riesch, who won her first downhill and super-G in the Austrian resort of Haus im Ennstal a month ago.
