Russian diving legend Dmitry Sautin added to his medal collection at the World Swimming Championships, which began in Barcelona on Sunday. Sautin won his 11th gold medal when he and Alexander Dobroskok claimed the men's synchronised 3m platform.
Sautin, who now has 20 gold medals from Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cups, earned a total of 369.18 points with his partner.
It was enough to see off the challenge of China's Wang Tianling and Wang Feng (343.29) and German pair Andreas Wels and Tobias Schellenberg (334.44).
China's women divers took the 10m title, with Lao Lishi and Li Ting rattling up 344.58 points to beat Australia's Loudy Tourky and Lynda Dackiw (323.34).
Russians Evgenya Olshevskaya and Svetlana Timoshinina took third place with 300.12.
Russian swimmer Yevgeny Kochkarov won the 5km open water title, completing the course in 53mins 11.9secs to finish ahead of Germany's Christian Hein.
Italy's Viola Valli won the women's event in a time of 57:01.2 with Jana Pechanova of the Czech Republic taking silver.
Britain's women's water polo team got off to a bad start, getting thrashed 14-1 by Canada in their first Group A match.
Biggest winners of the day were the Netherlands who beat Venezuela 18-4.
Australia's head men's swimming coach Brian Sutton has been forced to stand down for the world championships after failing to turn up on time at the team's training camp in Germany.
