De la Hoya plots comeback
Oscar de la Hoya swaps punches with Shane Mosley

Oscar de la Hoya will fight former IBF junior lightweight champion Arturo Gatti in June as he looks to bounce back to winning ways.

The former WBC welterweight champion, who is 32-2 with 26 knockouts, has not fought since losing to Shane Mosley six months ago.

"I am full of fire," said de la Hoya. "I intend to get into the best shape of my career and regain my title as best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

"After Gatti, I plan to move up to super welterweight at 154 pounds."

That move would put him in line for a re-match with unbeaten Puerto Rican superstar Felix Trinidad, who beat him on points in 1999.
