The United States kept their hopes of reaching the medal round alive in the men's volleyball by beating Australia in four sets on Saturday. Middle blocker Ryan Millar led the American attack in a 25-19 23-25 25-13 25-19 victory.
They have now won two and lost two games, and are in line for the final quarter-final berth from Pool B.
Elsewhere, Italy overcame Holland 25-19 25-21 25-20, while Poland beat Tunisia 25-18 23-25 25-19 25-23.
