Cyclist Jeremy Hunt has pulled out of the Olympics with a back injury. The 30-year-old, tipped by some as a possible medallist for Great Britain, picked up the problem while competing in the Tour of Denmark.
Hunt finished fifth in that race but is said to be "gutted" at missing the Games, especially because he believed the Athens course suited his style.
Britain is still well placed to enjoy a successful Olympics in cycling, with a number of prospects across the board.
