Kenyans sweep steeplechase

Sydney silver medallist Ezekiel Kemboi led home a Kenyan 1-2-3 in the final of the men's 3000m steeplechase. Brimin Kipruto took silver and Paul Kipsiele Koech bronze as Kenya took their first clean sweep since 1992. Kemboi came down the home straight gesturing to his team-mates after a race clearly run according to well worked-out team tactics. Kenya has won the Olympic steeplechase gold in every games the country has competed in since 1968.
