Video - Yoshida wins 55kg freestyle wrestling gold Japan's Saori Yoshida of Japan retained her women's 55kg Olympic wrestling title, pinning Chinese teenager Xu Li. Yoshida has lost only one match in her international career, to American Marcie Van Dusen earlier this year. But she bounced back from that to dominate in Beijing and create history as the first women's wrestler to win two Olympic golds. The bronze medals were claimed by Canada's Tonya Verbeek and Jackeline Renteria of Colombia. Xu, who is only 18, would have been the youngest Olympic wrestling gold medalist in any discipline. But she lost the first period 2-0 and was then pinned by Yoshida 43 seconds into the second.
