Britain's Paul Drinkhall missed the chance to book an Olympic place at the European Table Tennis qualifying tournament in Nantes. The 18-year-old from Middlesbrough lost to Poland's Daniel Gorak on Friday. The British number one, who is ranked 194th in the world, was then beaten 4-3 by France's Damien Eloi on Saturday. Drinkhall will try to book one of the remaining two Olympic places at the World Qualifying Tournament in Budapest, which starts on 8 May.
