Video - Filho flies to a Brazilian first

Cesar Cielo Filho caused a huge shock in the men's 50m freestyle final to claim Brazil's first gold of the Games.

Filho edged to victory in 21.30 seconds after a typically explosive final.

French pair Amaury Leveaux and Alain Bernard took silver and bronze with world champion Ben Wildman-Tobriner fifth and Aussie Eamon Sullivan sixth.

It was Cielo's second medal of the Beijing Games after he tied American Jason Lezak for bronze in the 100m freestyle earlier in the week.

"It was my best race ever," said Cielo.
