Phil Sharp has been catching his own squid in the Atlantic

Jersey sailor Phil Sharp has moved up another two places into fourth in the Figaro Atlantic race.

Sailing with his Czech partner David Krizek, the 2006 Route Du Rhum winner is now 1,800 miles away from the finish line in the Caribbean.

The pair have been steadily moving up positions over the past few days and are now just 30 miles behind the leaders.

Nicholas Troussel and Christopher Pratt still lead the race on board Financo.

The yachts set off from Concarneau ten days ago and are due to arrive in St. Barts in the Caribbean by the middle of May.
