Telford Paralympian Mickey Bushell has flown home after winning the Silver medal in the T53 men's 100 metres wheel chair race in Beijing.

Bushell, who was met by his proud family at Heathrow, is now preparing for his next event.

That will be the GEZE Tyne Tunnel 2K International on Thursday 2 October.

And Mickey's dad Pete Bushell told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It's the fastest road race in the world. It's not for the faint hearted."
