Video - Johnson's gold leaves her beaming Shawn Johnson of the United States won the final event in the women's gymnastic competition when she triumphed in the beam on Tuesday. Johnson nailed a tricky routine filled with difficult manoeuvres to win with a score of 16.225 points. The 2007 all-around world champion had already won three silvers in Beijing. She edged compatriot Nastia Liukin, who finished with a gold, three silvers and a bronze, into second, with the bronze medal going to Fei Cheng of China.
