Video - Blanik clinches vault gold

Leszek Blanik of Poland took the men's Olympic vault on a tie-break from Frenchman Thomas Bouhail on Monday.

Both Blanik and Bouhail scored 16.537 but the reigning world champion won, becoming the first non-Chinese man to win a gymnastics title in Beijing.

Anton Golotsutskov of Russia earned the bronze with a score of 16.475.

Romania's three-time world champion Marian Dragulescu had victory in sight after a superb first vault, but landed on all fours on his second attempt.
