Devon's Lucy Wiegersma says the British equestrian team has a serious chance of winning gold at this summer's Olympics. Wiegersma, who is making her debut at the games, feels the team has the capability of topping the podium. "If we get there and all the horses are sound and fit and in one piece we've got a seriously good chance of picking up a golf medal," she told BBC Devon. She is joined on the team by Zara Phillips, Sharon Hunt, William Fox-Pitt and fellow Devon rider Mary King. "It's been my life time ambition to be selected for an Olympics," said Wiegersma, who will be riding Shaabrak. The Equestrian events are taking place in Hong Kong and get under way on Saturday 9 August.
