Northamptonshire showjumper Tim Stockdale has said he is confident of being selected for the British Olympic team this summer.

Stockdale, who is from Roade, has two events coming up which will determine whether he will go to Beijing.

He must do well at the Nations Cups in Rome and Aachen in the next fortnight.

He told BBC Radio Northampton: "They're going to be really good tests. I'm not counting any chickens but I'm in a very good position."
