Suffolk equestrienne Sharon Hunt is confident her horse Tankers Town will cope with the testing conditions at this summer's Olympic Games. The equestrian events are being held in Hong Kong where the weather is likely to be hot and humid. Hunt told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He is an older, experienced horse so he has had hot and cool and dealt with all sorts of climate changes." It will be the 30-year-old Hunt's first appearance at an Olympic Games. She qualified for the Great Britain team after finishing fifth at the recent Badminton Trials. Hunt has said preparations for the Far East are already underway. "The conditions are going to be pretty adverse so we've got to get as fit as possible," she added. "He [Tankers Town] had a plan of campaign to be as fit as possible for Badminton and he can't sustain that until we go so he's having three easy weeks before he picks up again and starts cantering."
